We met Mr. Goodman of AG Construction, after upstairs leak cost two interior walls and about 850 ft.² of flooring in our basement. From the initial quote to the final invoice, they have the flooring business down to a science. We found Mr. Goodman to be very patient, knowledgeable, extremely professional throughout the entire process.
Out of the seven contractors who chose to bid the project, the pricing submitted by AG Construction was competitive and fair. But, ultimately, it was the overall professionalism they displayed and the willingness to go “above and beyond” the call with guidance and advice that won AG Construction our business.
I’m a total novice when it comes to things like home remodeling so I tend to ask a lot of questions and would lean on the recommendations and opinions of professionals. Out of all the contractors who came to give us an estimate, Mr. Goodman was the only one who took the time to walk me through the process step-by-step, including everything that would need to be done and not just the flooring.
He gave us the benefit of a family owned construction business by pointing out several potential “gotchas” and things to look out that had nothing to do with the flooring. The information proved to be vital in avoiding what could have been a huge headache for us down the road with different contractor.
The crew arrived promptly at 8am, going straight to work and had the installation (850sq ft) finished by early that afternoon. Color me impressed!!
The work was flawless with the crew going above and beyond having to move several large items out of the room before getting started and BACK after the floors were done. We could not have been happier!

AG Construction recently did a fabulous job refinishing the hardwood floors throughout my home, which included the living and dining rooms, 3 bedrooms, a hall and staircase. Since I am putting the place on the market, it was important that the work was done properly and with outstanding results. Aaron and his crew exceeded my expectations. The floors look fantastic, with uniform stain color and two finishing coats. In addition, the molding they added have sharp, tight miter joints. Best of all, they cleaned up very well after themselves and left no mess at all. The price was very reasonable for the quality I received, so I am happy there, too. I recommend these guys very highly, and will not hesitate to call them when I need flooring work in my new home.

AG Construction just completed installation of a new Basement Laminate Floor and new oak treads & risers for my basement steps. Both installations went flawlessly; they look beautiful! Prior to starting the new installations, they removed and disposed of the old carpet. No longer do I have to deal with dirty, dusty and disgusting carpet. This new flooring is great for my respiratory system! The entire crew worked very hard. I was amazed that they were able to complete this job in one day! Everyone was prompt, professional and took pride in their work. I am very happy with the results! The price was quite fair; they were very competitive. I highly recommend AG Construction. Aaron Goodman is a gentleman and a very Good Man!… :)

Aaron and his did a fantastic job at refinishing my existing hardwood floors and matching the wood of the existing to the new wood floors installed in my office. The crew was professional and courteous and took all the right steps in assuring the best quality work was completed without making a mess. They would vacuum at the end of each day a would take the time to tape off all the doors we wanted to ensure the dust would not reach other parts of the home. Side note: I actually went on vacation while his crew was in the final days of the project. I had a few packages that were being delivered while I was away and asked Aaron if he could have his crew set them inside the house (so nobody would take them off the front porch). He actually drove over himself, took pictures of the packages setting in the living room after personally setting them inside. Then, sent me pictures of the finished product while I was still on vacation. I will be recommending them to anyone I know.

We just had our dining room floor done today by AG Construction and we are very happy. The floor looks great! Aaron Goodman was very easy to communicate with and answered all my questions very thoroughly. He was very responsive in email communication as well. I would use them again if we decided to do any more floors in our home.

It was a pleasure to work with Aaron. I found him to be extremely responsive and professional! He answered every question that I had (no matter how many). I interviewed and received estimates from five other companies before choosing AG construction. My wood floors are beautiful! I am very picky but I have nothing but good things to say about this company and the installation. I highly recommend this company!
